Crohn’s disease is a systemic condition that can affect skin integrity and can present with particular skin manifestations. It is important to be aware of the impact of Crohn’s disease on the skin, and for patients with the condition to be managed holistically as part of a multidisciplinary team. Eshan Mazumdar, Clinical Research Fellow at the Welsh Wound Innovation Centre, presented a poster on this topic during the free paper session at Wounds UK 2021.
